“Integrated Photonics-Electronics Convergence System Technology” project, is one of the projects in “Future Pioneering Projects” entrusted by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). By developing Photonics Electronics Convergence Jisso Systemizing technology, which consists of optical waveguides and optical devices, we realize to significantly reduce power consumption of electronics components such as computation servers, which are predicted to increase power consumption in the future.
